Artist Chris Russell uses his bicycle as a mobile painting studio to capture the various landscapes around his home of Portland Oregon. Dubbed the Art Rambler, Russell’s bike is a 1983 Specialized Stump Jumper with a custom rack that turns into an easel for oil painting. This 2024 calendar features 12 landscape paintings completed en plein air on the Art Rambler. Each month features one painting, completed during the same month of the previous year. In addition to the paintings, there are supplemental photos and notes about the experience.
