Artist Chris Russell uses his bicycle as a mobile painting studio to capture the various landscapes around his home of Portland Oregon. Dubbed the Art Rambler, Russell’s bike is a 1983 Specialized Stump Jumper with a custom rack that turns into an easel for oil painting. This 2025 calendar features the 12 landscape paintings completed en plein air from his fist full year long Art Rambler series. Each month features one painting, completed during the same month of 2023. In addition to the paintings, there are supplemental photos and notes about the experience.
